the little big faith!!!!!!!!

daily as i go to my college en-route i come across the above temple which is situated right in between the road...it is a very small construction and to talk about the god (idol) in the temple...well it is a small rock in a distorted shape....
each day i see a different scene when i look out of the bus...somedays there are just a few flowers offered, few other days there are coconuts offered, somedays i find a wedding invitation and yet some very special day it is decorated with lights...and yet few other days i catch the sight of people worshiping it in their own way

seeing all this i wondered if only for just a moment about god's existence in that small place and people's faith in it
i simply knew better than to question the existence of god in this universe but what stumped me was could god really have such a simple existence???? without the grandeur of beautiful structures and more importantly without any form????
maybe it was the conditioning of my mind that i found it a tad bit difficult to accept god in this simple form and started question that how can god ever exit in a small rock????
and why did i fail to see god in this form led me to define something called as GOD


GOD for me can be defined as someone who is the most powerful of all...he is our father our well wisher and master of our lifes....he is also loving and caring mother and i was the apple of their eyes...god was the person who would teach me what is right and what is wrong..one who knows everything and one who is kind and one who is a santa claus in my life showering gifts on me

and then one day i found out that god simply meant the breeze that brings the fragrance of the roses ...he exists in the rain that showers , he can be seen in the smile of an infant ...god is the presence of serenity and beauty seen at sunset over a sea shore...

and somewhere between the two extreme faces of the GOD... god is the voice which urges you to move on in a difficult path...god is the assurance that you are not alone and lost
GOD is the confidence that everything is going to be ok and good times will come...GOD is in the strength you find all of a sudden to cross a huge obstacle....
and GOD is the person who see to it that you write your exams well :) :)
