BACKGROUND :
life had gotten into a hopeless rut with a pathetic schedule eating me up. After all the emotional windings my life took seemingly my spirit was drying up. only a miracle could awaken the sunken spirit of mine.
and indeed GOA was the miracle. like all pieces fit into this big jigsaw puzzle everything {from DAD's permission, to all friends gearing up, to me shopping and all this when my mid terms were going on to } came down together and i was on my way to GOA. this was my first trip with friends and everything had to be done on our own. so initially i was a bit tensed but now i have realized we are no longer kids.
it was my maiden trip to goa and everyone else had seen it before.so i awaited to catch glimpse of goa while traveling around the ghats all night long.
INITIAL GOA:
it is an old habit of mine whenever i visit a new place i tend to check out the vibe of the city and needless to say as expected GOA had the vibe of a forever vacation going on. it was like one huge party going on where nobody was bothered with anything. everyone was expected to do whatever that would make them happy.
join in the party guys was the motto it would seem :)
FUN and KILLER trip GOA :
for starters we didn't drink, nor did i eat sea food (me a veggie), weren't able to step into a disc so don't sigh and think "then what fun is she talking about."
this was going to be our once in a life time trip as well as KILLEr trip. and by the end we were so intoxicated with fun that it was way beyond our imagination.
killer trip demanded a patented dialog which goes like this "HARMKE TERA kIYA TERA KHANDHAN BHUKTE GA" (roughly translated as "your doings will be suffered by ur entire family") what started as an admiration for old movie dialogs became a thing where we watched out for every single opportunity to yell it out. waiter didn't get a ketchup or shopkeeper didn't lower the price or someone didn't share the chocolate(just a few incidents whr this was used)
for all other friends who hadn't come we invented the new JHALANe (jealousy)wala lighter.
apart from all the night outs to playing cards to planning a cycle robbery to reading a novel to going on long drives, paying the cop 4 his liquor, waiting for a crazy moment to pull legs
having a killer time at water sports.jet ski and para sailing was an amazing experience. the other surprising and awesome fun rides were BUMPER and BANANA (a must do rides for every one).
ordering food was where my brains had a lot of work to do. me being the only veggie had the most strenuous task of fishing for what could be most delicious and filling food from very less choices offered. And how can i forget the french fries which was consumed every single day at every meal.
the most important discovery happened in CCD(CAFE COFFEE day). Apart from discussing high tide low tide {wink wink} we discovered the reason why none from our group was interested in liquor. well that is because we found we had an inbuilt alcoholism in us. this alcoholism usually gets activated on having COFFEE. proof is all the good times we had at out cafe hangouts :P
"ALL IN ALL IT WAS NOTHING BUT PURE FUN 24*5 DAYS OF GOA"
Just a small irritant :
why do Indian guys and men drink and drink until they can't handle and are totally out of their senses. do they even enjoy what they drink or they just slurp it down and how do they feel when they pass out ???? i saw foreigners drink but didn't find them with blood shot eyes or lost senses.
whatever
i don't get the idea of fun in losing ones senses and not knowing the ground they keep their foot on
Awesome... this is the first light hearted post from you...

2) no arguments but i love my coffee
3) you should go to GOA :)
Good to read that you enjoyed the Goa trip! This could be one that can get you the required energy to get going. Talking about drinks, I agree that over-drinking is bad. But so is over-consumption of anything eatable, be it solid or liquid.
ReplyDeleteStill, I stayed away from the bottle during my Goa trip!! the beaches and a thunderstorm in the evening were awesome memories.
