the two good things which came out of my vacation

ok without much introductions lets just say i was chilling with my vacations going on.
and my busy and hectic schedule didn't leave me much time for things i loved to do so vacations was fully dedicated to do lovely things.
with such a mission i caught up with movies that i missed and how can a vacation go on without me reading a novel so i read a novel too

(well there are still so many movies that i haven't watched) Recently saw a movie called "Jail" by Madhur Bhandarkar.

to start with this movie is not like any other movies by Madhur Bhandarkar (Read Loud,Noisy,Unrealistic,Hypocritical)
Jail is one amazing movie from him. well every good thing needs to be appreciated so guess that is the reason i am writing about it. well the simple story of Jail is that Parag dixit(neil nitin mukesh) gets caught in a drug case though he is totally innocent and gets thrown into the jail.(no he isn't purposely framed ). for once this story doesn't have any villains or a hero. the biggest strength of the movie is its story. The only Villain in the movie is the Lousy manner in which Justice and Police functions. when it comes to Optimism the story doesn't paint a Rosy or goody goody image and for that matter it doesn't even paint a very very bad picture of the Jail. the story moves in a very realistic manner. there are lot of beautiful moments and all that adds upto make one amazing helluva movie.(maybe that is the reason why even you end up with a sense of relief when Parag is declared innocent and Released)
a Special mention goes to Manoj Bajpai. there was never a doubt that he is a very good actor. he proves it with etching the character of Nawab beautifully :).

Now coming to the novel.
well Novel is "DEAR JOHN" by Nicholas Sparks

(yet again Nicholos sparks is famous for mushy, romantic, once in a lifetime love kinda stories with happy endings) But dear john is not one with a happy ending.
it is a story about two people who fall in love and in-spite of finding true love they are not able to live happily ever after. it talks about how things go wrong
and it also does talk about you can truly love a person and the play of circumstances can lead you to loose that person.

  1. Hey nice to see you back

I am nt particular fan of Bhandarkar and hated the Fashion
But i liked the ones like Corporate etc. He is just an ordinary film maker and i would say even less than ordinary..
