Life never ends!!!

“Vishal“ the name still had the same effect…it left her jittery and she had to excuse herself to calm herself down. She scolded herself after all it was just a name of her son’s friend.
Late night that day when she lied down she unleashed the memories yet again…she was an ordinary girl in college lost in her own fantasy world. Yet there were few extraordinary things about her. A happy go lucky girl, never caring a damn thing about the world. She had her life all planned out. It was that simple for her. get out of the college, get a job settle down with the guy her parents chose for her. Hope to death that he isn’t yet another male chauvinist. Build a small house with a separate library room in it .have two little adorable kids and you get flow right?
Of course it was a simple and great plan until “VISHAL” happened.
Vishal wasn’t the typical college stud guy, but nonetheless a playboy he was. He knew the right words to say to a girl. He always had a way to a girls heart..
Karma is a bitch they say, but she still hadn’t figured out to whom the blame suited .whether it really was karma, she had yet to know.
Vishal fell hard and how!!!, a lot many people saw how he fell for the wrong girl. But love is blind and he got trapped in his own game. Love is a four letter word which can induce the maximum pain in a person’s heart and scar him emotionally for the rest of his life.
She was like a breath of fresh air in his life. He couldn’t actually believe that he was smiling again. Her innocence, naive attitude won him over. It was as though life had given him a second chance yet again.

She couldn’t help falling for him. Neither was it a love at first sight, nor was it any kind of mushy romance. It was a gradual and slow poison that spread through her heart. She had never thought she would her plans would have this unexpected turn…she was soaring high in the colors of true love. If someone asked her to lay down her life for him she would have happily obliged without a second thought.
Then the dark days started creeping over. His past started haunting his new found happiness. It still depresses her to think he feared about the same fate. If only he had spoken out his fears. She would have let him know. She would have fought the world to be with him. He should have known that.
His behavior was erratic. He wanted to distance himself from her . Yet he was drawn to her. He had found happiness yet there was a shadow of sadness.
She didn’t know what was happening. One day he would be dying to speak to her and shower his love on her and the next day he would ignore her like anything. He would cut her off from his life as if she never mattered.
How could he have not seen the pain inflicted on her?
It was too much too handle…
This erratic behavior followed with no explanation whatsoever was killing her.
She could clearly read his feeling and knew him in and out by know. Every confrontation with him ended him denying blatantly any of her reasoning. She was clueless, helpless and hope was her only aid.
She left the matters to time, hoping that in time he would return to her.
But things happened differently; soon rumors started floating around of his new relationship. She was shattered.
It was now that she truly realized how much she loved him. How could anyone stop loving a person suddenly? The pain was so real yet invincible.
It was as though nothing could bring him back yet there was a stupid hope that things would work out. Pain was wrecking havoc in her soul, she no longer recognized herself. She was on the verge of tipping over and killing herself to end the pain.
This time, she raised the bar for herself, she would not act like a coward. She had enough of this nonsense. She promised herself she would get out of this.
She slowly but surely, started re-building her life. She shifted cities, burnt every memory of him. She started killing all her hopes and dreams pinned on him. It wasn’t an easy task. Each day she thought she was making progress she would be back to square one with a small memory. Smallest and weirdest thing hit her in the pit of the stomach. She would cry herself to sleep, yet next day she would try again.

Slowly, change started coming through .there was a hope shimmering. Love blossomed yet again this time though she stuck to her plan.
Her parents found the perfect match for her. She outshined in her career, yes the small house with a library room cum home theater is in progress (home theater for the hubby).
And a mischievous son whom I dote on…you get the flow right…..
Life is beautiful…I still shudder on the dark day. But I happy to say I have loved and lost and lucky to have found love yet again.

Yes he is settled now too; he has married someone I guess. Too bad he didn’t get to spend his life with the gorgeous, utterly crazy and super sweet her :P :P :P
