Valentine's day

She started getting ready for college. To go Red or Not to go Red was the question? it would be just another ordinary day,yet it was supposed to be a very special day.

Love was in the air and on Valentines day everything seemed rosy. Rosy, yes she decided to wear a light pink dress (Pink was the diplomatic Red or so she assumed)

She was now ready to start her day, plugging in her earphones,tune to her favorite station she stepped out of the house. 

 

As the lift made it to the floor,she checked if there were any flowers at her doorstep.Nope Nothing. May be they will reach in the evening. Nevertheless she started for her college.

Only on this day every single song on the radio transports you to the la la wonder la land of romance. A little magic of love spreads around you when you hear people talk about their valentines

Be it the constant blushing of the young bride when she speaks of her husband, or the story of grandpa who simply cant live without his life long companion.

Once again they played her fav song which of course was pictured on Shahruk Khan.

As she started walking towards the college gate, she started searching for him. may be he was waiting for her at the gate to give her a surprise.uff..Nope he was not there..He didnt make it 

She walked into the college,spotting and mentally noting all the guys and gals in red.She joined her gang and started joking around about all the red costumes,gossiping with her bestie about the other female who was very suspiciously missing in the college today.

Then there was mindless leg pulling and teasing with the so called secret crush. It was always cute to tease and get teased :)

After all the excitement she made her way into the world of boring classroom. And as if by some evil luck, today she had majority of boring lecture to look forward to.No matter how much she concentrated, she was drifting away. The lullaby sound of the professor was not helping, the dreamy state of her friend was not helping.

She looked out of the classroom window and felt the beautiful mountains calling out to her. How she wished to go out there on a picnic.It would be fun.

She wished for some escape, if only by some magic he appeared the door and took her out of the college, they could have gone to a beach. Have a peaceful dinner, wait till the moon rose and then drive back home.

yet again, there was no magic that could get him to rescue her. She dragged herself through the boring lectures and made her way back home.

At home she switched through the T.V. channels, stopping when she finally found a good romantic movie.Romantic movies were always the best kind of movies. 

Teary eyed from the movie,she finally had her dinner and went off to sleep.

Yet another Valentines Day had come to an end and Her DREAM GUY was yet to make an appearance, let alone ask her out on a date. 

 

Chalo No problem, next Valentines day pakka he will make an appearance. Till then Happy Valentine's day guys.

On second thoughts even if that stupid guy/gal doesn't appear in your life, remember you are always blessed with loved ones who make your world beautiful.They might not take you away to secret getaways, but they are there at every single step of you life to kick your ass and wake you up when you are busy having a stupid day dreaming. :) ;)
